Blue Ridge Parkway - Fall Colors
Fall colors are peaking on the Blue Ridge Parkway, even past peak at the higher elevations. But from many of those higher overlooks, you can see a colorful array down below.

Grand Teton National Park
Fall is here. It's a wonderful time to visit Grand Teton National Park. Visitation is down, but the park never stops.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery. Do some hiking. Maybe wait until winter and cross country ski or snowshoe at Jackson Hole, in the shadows of these spectacular mountains.

Dupont State Forest - Expanded Parking, New Bridge
I need to go to Dupont State Forest more often. Since I was last there (nearly 2 years ago), there have been a few improvements.
Hooker Falls Parking on Staton Road has been more than doubled, with the addition of a second lot. Also, a great looking pedestrian bridge was added over the river. You no longer need to walk on the highway.
Click on the link to read all about Dupont Forest. There are lots of pictures, too!
